East End Desiccated Coconut

The coconut, grown on the coconut tree, is enclosed in a thick oval shell revealing a hollow kernel that is full of milk when under-ripe. Mainly grown within the Pacific regions, coconuts are distributed and known around the world. The nut can be eaten raw or cooked, often as desiccated, shredded coconut.
